Women
in the
Wild
In the summer of 2019, two students and I headed to a field site in rural South Texas. There I assisted with the field site's education and outreach program while overseeing the program participants in conducting their own ecology projects. These projects were presented at a department seminar and related conferences. Participants also benefited from one-on-one meetings to work on writing, resume/CV preparation, oral presentation practice, and other skills. I hope to expand the Women in the Wild program in the near future. Stay tuned!
